When you're a child, with a child's mind, you think as a child! You never question your existence or your rights as an individual.
You depend on and trust those who gave you life, and what they give you is what you accept! Regardless of the quality or consequences.

It is an influence that stays with you throughout your entire life!

I was once a child..

In order to understand the writings of this author, you need to be able to look at what brought her to such despair.
Born Phyllis Francis Kearns, on an army base in Athlone Ireland, after WW ll had ended.  The fifth daughter, plus two brothers later,
of parents who hadn't noticed the war was over, and kept it going within their own four walls.

Moved to N. Ireland at the age of eight, where another War was taking place! IRA Versus RUC... Protestant against Catholic (I was  Catholic)

My father rejoined the Irish Army and went off to Africa as part of a UN peace mission, leaving my mother struggling to keep us alive on a five acre farm:
There was no child support!.

Emigrated to USA from England, in the mid sixties...during the height of the Vietnam War.

Married an Iranian at age 20... creating an on going War that went on for 24 years!

War is hell, whether it be within the four corners of the world, or the four corners of the mind!

War! War! War! It is endless...!

Mahesh's Comment

Contrary to the image you get from reading the above, she is quite sweet, bubbly, curious, passionate and full of energy. I had many interesting debates with her. We do not agree on many things, but the discussion is never bitter.
