This calculator calculates the rate of return, using yearly interest compounding. It does not simply use the final balance and total investment to calculate the rate. Instead, it takes the date of individual investment into account. This distinguishes RateCalculator from other calculators available in market. This type of calculation cannot be done by scientific calculator and it needs programming techniques to solve for the rate. This software encloses this calculation and yet give simple interface for user to interpret the investment data easily.
